Alicia is an attorney focusing on family law matters, including divorce, allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, juvenile law, guardianship proceedings, and mental health cases. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate challenging legal issues with practical guidance, compassionate advocacy, and a commitment to achieving meaningful outcomes.

Prior to transitioning to family law, Alicia practiced civil defense litigation for four years, concentrating on medical malpractice and insurance defense matters. This experience provided her with extensive litigation, negotiation, and courtroom experience, which she now draws upon to effectively advocate for her clients.

Before attending law school, Alicia earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Springfield. She also worked as a paralegal and as a Certified Emergency Telecommunications Dispatcher, experiences that strengthened her ability to communicate effectively, remain composed under pressure, and assist individuals facing difficult circumstances.

Alicia earned her Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2022. She is also a certified Guardian ad Litem for the Tenth Judicial Circuit, where she represents and advocates for the best interests of children involved in court proceedings.

Outside of her legal practice, Alicia enjoys spending time with her son, reading books on the porch with coffee in hand, and traveling to warm destinations.
